Kennel Tech

Part Time

     Our Part-Time Kennel Technicians aid in day-to-day care for both boarding and training dogs within the facility. The right candidate is able to build and maintain strong connections with their peers, effectively maintain workplace tidiness, and be passionate about the care of all dogs at our facility. Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are all musts. Candidates will come in contact with canine bodily fluids, as well as cleaning chemicals. Kennel Techs will be given many responsibilities, including but not limited to:​

​

  • Maintain training space cleanliness and organization

  • Maintain kennel space cleanliness and organization

  • Basic Grooming and Handling

  • Oversee dog let-outs

  • Provide general assistance as necessary to trainers

  • Facilitate pick up and drop off for boarding dogs

​

Requirements:

  • 18 years or older

  • Reliable transportation

  • Minimum 6 months professional animal experience

  • Able to lift upwards of 50lbs

  • Able to remain standing for extended periods of time

  • Available minimum of 2 week days plus Saturdays and holidays

  • Ability to multi-task and maintain a strict timeline

Trainer

Part Time

     Our Part-Time trainers maintain strong client-company relationships, and facilitate the intake of new training clients as well as ensuring the upkeep of current dogs and programs. We're looking for a candidate that is dedicated to the care of not only the dogs at our facility but also to our clients - past, present, and future. They must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, dedication to our mission of creating calm, confident companions and willingness to work hard. Trainers will be given many responsibilities, including but not limited to:​

​

  • Intake of new client dogs

  • Partake in daily, structured walks or field trips

  • Train on and off-leash behaviors using provided tools

  • Manage and oversee dog socials

  • Assess and maintain health and well-being of dogs within our facility

  • Assist with in-home consultations and private sessions

 

Requirements

  • 18 years or older

  • Reliable transportation

  • Minimum 1 year professional dog training experience

  • Proficient in knowledge of dog body language

  • Ability to work independently and in a timely manner

  • Able to life upwards of 50lbs

  • Able to remain standing for extended periods of time

  • Available minimum 3 days per week,  plus weekends and holidays
